Katie Niesen Cook
Principal & Owner
Katie is a 2007 graduate of University of Kansas with a Masters of Architecture. She is licensed to practice in the state of Missouri.
Her blend of creative problem-solving and technical mastery consistently produces well-composed documentation that leads to a smooth construction process. She has experience with a variety of project types including single-family homes, additions, renovations and interiors.
Katie purchased Jim Bulejski Architects at the end of 2024 after working with Jim for 16 years, continuing and reinforcing the tradition of quality design and thorough execution that the firm is known for.

Founder
Establishing a first-class firm evolved from over 40 years of practicing quality design and thorough execution. Jim’s expertise as a designer are rooted in a variety of projects types including single-family and multi-family homes, home additions, office, retail and historic renovation.
Educated with a Bachelor of Architecture from Kansas State University, Jim has served as a member of the Webster Groves and Pevely Farms Architectural Review Boards and is an Associate Member of the Home Builders Association.
He is a registered architect licensed to practice in the state of Missouri.
